Born and raised in Alabama, Sherry Houston grew up in a beautiful, rich, and amazing traditional southern background. At a early age, she fell in love with shoes and handbags. Particularly handbags, because as her great-grandma, Delia, would say, "A handbag is one of a women's best accessories". After graduating from design school, she moved to New York City , and worked as a fashion model for several years. While in New York, she was able to absorb "what's hot" and "what's not". After absorbing the big-life lessons of the fashion industry, she was determine to follow her heart and create her own handbag business. When she was deciding where to locate her business, a trip to Atlanta, Georgia, gave her the answer. The "south" was calling her to come back home.
